Ronald J Delaire
Dr. Delaire moved to Coachella Valley from Canada in 1997. He practiced there 22 years before moving here. He was closely affiliated with the medical profession in Canada and saw numerous patients that were referred to him from the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. The chief of the Orthopedic Department, Dr. W. H. Kirkaldy-Willis worked closely with Dr. Delaire. Dr. Delaire was also a staff member of the North Battleford Union Hospital; he was also the chairman of a multi-disciplinary assessment team for workers compensation. This team comprised a medical doctor, a physical therapist, a psychologist, and occupational therapist and a chiropractor.
Since moving here he has worked hard at establishing himself as a very scientifically based practitioner and works with all of the medical IPA’s in the valley. Besides the Accu-Spinal machine he has a growing chiropractic practice that accepts most insurances, he is a Medicare provider, and treats workers compensation injuries, personal injuries and has an economical cash practice. He has a small gym in his office for rehabilitation. He also has modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stim and a Ceragem intersegmental traction machine. This comes from Korea and also utilizes heat via far infrared rays. For minor aches and pains this is quite relaxing and therapeutic. If anyone would like to try this machine, the first treatment is free. Over the past year we have been doing Liquid – Photonic – Laser therapy with wonderful results. If you would require a chiropractor consultation please call and this can be arranged.
Throughout his years of practice Dr. Delaire has helped many patients with disc injuries, spinal stenosis and chronic lower back pain by way of chiropractic and exercise. Unfortunately there have always been patients that were just too sensitive and were in to much pain to treat with chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Delaire has always been open to new ideas and concepts as long as these things had scientific validity and made sense. When he was introduced to Disc Decompression therapy in May of 2003 he was quite skeptical. He called numerous practitioners across the country (medical doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists) that have used this therapy in their practices. They were all extremely excited about this new technology. They were quite adamant that they were getting a minimum of 80% success rate. Dr. Delaire performed his own therapeutic trial on a number of his own patients and on a number of patients referred to him by various medical doctors. Everyone in the trial showed success, some much more so than others. One lady had been utilizing a walker to get around, she graded her pain at 8 out of 10, she had had a number of failed epidural injections. After treatment she graded her pain at 1 out of 10 and she returned to playing golf. Another lady was booked for surgery; she was on 400 mg of morphine every day to control her chronic lower back pain. The surgeons were going to fuse her entire lumbar spine. After treatment she was taking only about 25 mg of morphine a day and her pain was considerably less. She was able to walk and function better than she had been in years.
Please call for your complementary evaluation to see if you are a candidate for Disc Decompression therapy via the Accu-Spinal machine. When coming to your consultation it would be very advantageous if you have prior MRI or CT scans.
